Children's Advent Activities

Advent is such a special time of year. Just to highlight a few things we are doing this year to help prepare for Christmas which are especially suitable for children.

• The Advent calendars are here - please collect yours from church!
• Posada - Mary, Joseph and the donkey will be visiting different houses in St. Peter's again this year. If you would like to host them for a sleepover, please let Eleanor know. This was very much enjoyed last year by those families who participated.
• Nativity Craft at Thursday Cafe - On Thursdays 3rd, 10th and 17th 3:30-4:30pm we will be doing some special crafty things for children at the cafe. Please just pop in to join us.
• Friday 4th December 2020, 5 pm - Lighting of the Parish and Church Christmas Trees. La Hougette School Choir will sing for us and free bacon rolls will be available.
• Sunday 20th December 10 a.m.- DIY Nativity at the Family Service. Please come dressed as a character from the Christmas story.
• Christmas Eve - Christingle Services at 3 p.m. and 5 p.m.
